Your guests come from everywhere. Driftwood speaks their language.

The guest dashboard renders in English, Spanish, and French today. Guests pick their language with a globe button in the header; their choice persists per-device. Public displays can show up to four languages side-by-side.

Auto-translate your messages

Messages page mid-translate
  1. Write once — your welcome message, room card text, disclaimers, or warnings in your source language.
  2. Click "Save and translate" — Driftwood sends the draft to Claude for translation into your other languages, preserving formatting and tone.
  3. Edit translations directly — override anything the AI got wrong; the override sticks.

Quota: 5 translations per hour, 10 per day by default. Cost absorbed in your subscription.

Where language shows up

  • Guest dashboard — globe button switches the whole page.
  • In-room device — pulls the room's resolved language from cloud config.
  • Lobby displays — each display has its own language list; show 1–4 languages on screen at once.
  • Manage portal admin UI — currently English-only.

Roadmap

  • Canadian French formatting — shipped (12-hour clocks, °C units, locale-aware dates).
  • German — queued behind a confirmed customer ask.
  • Portuguese, Italian — likely follow when a Madeira or Italian coast property signs up.

Multilingual hospitality, ready to go.

Multi-language requires Boutique tier or higher.
