No. The guest dashboard works on any phone or tablet through a regular URL. Lobby displays use TVs / monitors / Chromecasts / iPads you already own. In-room devices are optional add-ons (coastal properties today; inland variant on the roadmap).

Every device is locked to your property. Moving it to a new room or network needs the manager's six-digit unlock PIN, the on-device factory reset is behind that same PIN, and a unit you report stolen is locked on its hardware ID — a lock that survives a factory reset and a firmware reflash, so a stolen device is worthless. 30 days, no credit card. At day 30 you pick a tier and pay annually — or do nothing and the dashboard goes dark. We don't auto-charge.

During the trial: just don't subscribe. After: don't renew — we never auto-renew. Renewal is explicit, with a reminder email a month before expiry.
